The world has made giant strides in innovative technology and information is available at the click of a button. Yet the world of books is irreplaceable. WE HAVE WELL STOCKED LIBRARIES FOR THE PRIMARY , MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL SECTIONS.

At Carmel there is a separate library for each section like Primary, Middle School and High school. Each library is housed in a spacious hall providing the children a vast collection of books and journals of all subjects. The students are encouraged to make good use of the libraries where the reading halls provide a conducive atmosphere for reading and reflection.


Computer Laboratory / Multimedia Centre

As an institution that keeps pace with the times, we feel it imperative to make our students tech savvy right from their school days. Towards achieving this we have a well equipped computer lab and a multi-media center. Each student has an individual system to work on and a knowledgeable staff to keep him abreast of the latest developments.

We have a strong team of professionals from the field of computers to guide the students and to update them about the latest changes in this field. We also have a multimedia theatre stocked with reference books and compact discs of the interest range to all ages and classes. Seminars and workshops are organized from time to time.


Science Laboratory

Pure science is one branch of study that constantly opens up new vistas and avenues. The institution believes in a more hands on approach to the subject and therefore our lab helps each student to translate theoretical knowledge into a practical learning experience. Our lab staff and our subject teachers are the guides and mentors of the students. Every or any student is a potential scientist in the making, therefore science talks, lectures and model making competitions are a regular feature.

Science has provided mankind with the means to bridge long distances and to understand the mysteries of the world.

SEPARATE LABORATORIES ARE PROVIDED FOR EACH SECTION. EACH LABORATORY OCCUPIES A SPACIOUS HALL EQUIPPED TO CATER TO ALL ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS. AS PER A SET SCHEDULE, EACH CLASS GETS AN OPPORTUNITY TO TRANSLATE THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE INTO PRACTICE. EACH LAB HAS AN INFRASTRUCTURE BEST SUITED FOR CONDUCTING EXPERIMENTS IN ALL BRANCHES OF SCIENCE.




Mathematics Laboratory

India has made what was probably the most important contribution in Mathematics be it the number system to the base ten, the corresponding numerals and a simple method of making calculations with them.

CONCEPTS THAT SEEM ABSTRACT ARE TAUGHT WITH ACTIVITIES, KEEPING IN MIND THE STUDENTS WHO HAVE A LOWER APTITUDE FOR THE SUBJECT TO DEVELOP INTEREST AND LOVE FOR THE SUBJECT.

Various concepts from fractions to decimals from geometrical figures to thermo analysis are all dealt with in an easy way to orient the students towards a practical experience.

Students are encouraged to make their own models and charts to project how well they have assimilated the subject.


Auditorium


Our infrastructure is further complimented by an auditorium which is the center for all our co-curricular activities.

The infrastructure also includes an auditorium equipped with a long range LCD projector and a 20 x20 screen that can be used for large presentations. The auditorium is designed for student learning and for professional development course for teachers and staff. Also included in the auditorium is a DVD/VCR player, Sound System, Movie Screen, and a Television Set.
